The Hulett Lawn Difference
Be Green with Hulett!Did you know that all lawn services are not the same? Some lawn and shrub companies use cheaper, less effective products and equipment, and don’t properly train their service technicians. However, Hulett uses the most advanced products and equipment and provides ongoing training for all of its lawn technicians.
High Quality Products and Equipment
Whether it is the pumps, hoses, reels, or backpacks, all of Hulett’s equipment is dedicated to specific jobs. We don’t use the same equipment for every job like some companies do. This extra precaution prevents dangerous cross-contamination that would cause unhealthy lawn and shrubs.
Our dedicated spray equipment means just that. One spray rig is used for trees and shrubs and another spray rig for the lawn program. There is no risk of burning or incompatibility.
We fill up with fresh water daily, and do not leave old products in tanks overnight. This is important since the products would lose their effectiveness sitting in the tank overnight. Each tank has a 600 gallon main tank that feeds into a 200 gallon drop tank for on-site, custom mixing at every property serviced.
Mix tanks have two agitator jets that keep prescription treatments thoroughly mixed for proper application. Our equipment is calibrated for accuracy twice a month, and Hulett professionals have reference sheets to verify rates and mixtures.
Hulett's spray nozzle on the end of the spray wand beats the competition, hands down! Most competitors use a shower nozzle, delivering three gallons per minute per one thousand square feet. Compare that to Hulett's high pressure nozzle which delivers ten gallons per minute per one thousand square feet! It delivers over three times the volume of product for penetration and pressure. The nozzle assures that treatment reaches down through the thatch and roots of the grass where it can do the most good.
Trained Lawn Professionals
All of Hulett’s lawn professionals receive on-going training to keep them up-to-date and aware of the latest methods and treatments in the industry.
Hulett’s lawn training program assures that technicians utilize the latest application methods and the most effective products and equipment. Seasonal training is also performed for weeds, plant diseases, and fertilization procedures.
Equipment calibration is monitored daily, with seasonal considerations figured into the formula. Our professionals are also trained to initiate recalls to customers’ locations to follow up on treatment results and make further recommendations when required.
